Baby Got Bacteria were formed on the roof of the Caucus Club during Twitchell’s wedding reception. Sal M and Primary V were kicking back some horse doovers and decided that the time was ripe for building the perfect musical weapon of mass kickassness. They quickly enlisted the drummer and started woodshedding, After 4 weeks and 13 songs they brought Suzannadannah, Katwood and Evilkinz in to round out the sextet. Their debut gig was on August 1st, 2008 at the historic Hole in the Wall, and they have since delighted crowds at Lovejoys, Creekside and the Hole with their infectious grooves and blatant manners. They have played with Tsu Shi Ma Mi Re (from Japan), the West Coast Pinups, Peel, Blackholicus, and the Brass Ovaries Pole Dancing group, and have just finished their first demo recordings with Peter Stopschinski of Brown Whornet/Golden Hornet fame.
Sal M (Eric Roach) Bass — Sal has toured all over the world, picking up some of the most exotic bacterias known to science. He started playing bass after watching the Grambling University band, and discovering how expensive sousaphones were. A longtime underground fixture on the Austin music scene, his high-school band the Larrys opened for the Big Boys and Glass Eye and played at the Beach, Liberty Lunch, and Antones on Guadalupe. Since then he has played in Lick Lick (who have toured Japan, and played both SXSW and CMJ), The Fencesitters/Fencecutters (who released 4 CDs and played many SXSWs), Passed Out Flyers, the Stupor Friends, Alfalfa Male, and the Wampus Cats. His bass playing gods are Bootsy, John Entwistle, John Paul Jones, Les Claypool, Wade Longenberger, Larry Graham, Brian Beattie, and Geezer. email sal @ this domain.

the drummer (Matt Kelly) Drums — the drummer is fairly mysterious, although you may know him from fronting and playing keys in his other kick ass bands Lick Lick, Passed out Flyers, and Crash Helmet.
